Testimonial Monday
God, we thank you for keeping us when we didn’t want to be kept. Thank you for being our deliverer. You rescued us from dangers seen and unseen. God, you are our refuge and strength, and our present help in the time of trouble. Thank you for protecting us, shielding us from ourselves, and loving us despite our wrongs.
Testimony
Praise be to God. I want to share my testimony of how God brought me out and delivered me from hopelessness.
As a little girl I lost my mom and dad to a murder-suicide. My father killed my mom and then some months later while he was in jail, he killed himself. I had my parents for 11 years. Losing my parents brought much pain and sadness and I was in a deep depression. I used to cut myself, smoke weed, drink and have sex trying to cope with the pain. There have been times when I tried to kill myself. I was hospitalized in a mental institution on more than one occasion. My thoughts were off and I did not want to live. I wanted to be with my mom. My mind was under attack. Thanks be to God that I am no longer in that place. When the enemy tries to come against me in my mind, I fight those negative thoughts with the word of God. God’s word says in Psalms 118:17, that I shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord.
Tonya Yarborough
Lord God, we thank you for being Jehovah Shammah, the one who is there. We thank you that your eyes are towards the righteous, and you hear our cries and prayers. God, you came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. We know that the power of life and death are in the tongue. So, we will speak life as Tonya did over every situation that arises in our lives. We speak wholeness over our mental state. We rebuke and bind a wounded spirit, hardening of the heart, rebellion, despair, and suicide in Jesus Name. We call forth healing, love, a renewed mind, a new way of thinking, having assurance, trust, faith, and strength in God.
WE WILL LIVE AND NOT DIE, AND DECLARE THE WORKS OF THE LORD!
